As we keep saying Curbys NT custom and pre-designed sublimated shirts are made here in the Territory for Territorians.
Here is more information about Curbys NT shirts and sublimation;
What is dye sublimation?
Dye Sublimation is a printing process that uses heat to transfer the dye into the media. The image is transferred onto the fabric by the use of a heat press, which puts the ink into the fabric rather then over the top of the fabric. This process keeps the breathable characteristic of the fabric, ideal for Australia’s climate.
Why use Curbys NT shirts?
Curbys NT shirts are made from a high quality polyester, which is comfortable, lightweight and breathable; perfect for Australia’s climate. Another great component that Curbys NT shirts have is that the fabric has a 50+ UPF. Yet, the best thing about Curbys NT shirts is that every shirt is custom made, which means the customer get to decide how the shirts are designed.
UPF and SPF, what’s the difference?
SPF is for sunscreen and UPF is for clothing and swimwear.
UPF 15-24 – Good Protection – Blocks 93.9-95.9% UV Radiation
UPF 25-39 – Very Good Protection – Blocks 96-97.4% UV Radiation
UPF 40+ – Excellent Protection – Blocks 97.5-99%+ UV Radiation
UPF50+ is considered to be the ultimate in UV sun protection.
Clean Green Inks
The inks Curbys NT use are clean green inks, which mean they are environmentally friendly, water based inks that guarante a high vibrant colour.
These clean green inks are so environmentally friendly that they can be washed straight down the sink.
Unlike normal fabric, Curbys NT shirts have no ink residue. So they can be wash and worn right way, without the worry of having to wash it separately first.
